Around 9h30, a fire broke out at the glass production facility of Tuan Minh Co., Ltd., located in Quyet Thang ward. The factory, constructed with a steel frame and corrugated iron, specializes in manufacturing construction glass, laminated safety glass, and tempered glass.

Due to the presence of many flammable packaging materials and raw materials inside, the fire quickly spread, creating a column of black smoke that rose hundreds of meters high.

Nguyen Thu Trang, a witness, stated that no workers were present inside the factory at the time of the fire, as the entire company was on holiday. Adjacent rental properties had to be evacuated due to fears of the fire spreading.

The Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police dispatched five fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to extinguish the blaze. Police, military personnel, and the Civil Defense Steering Committee were also mobilized to coordinate efforts in containing the fire and preventing its spread.

By 11h, the fire was extinguished. A representative from the Quyet Thang Ward People's Committee reported no human casualties, and property damage is currently being assessed.
