At Tran Hung Dao Primary School's second campus, which has over 300 students, the restrooms were severely damaged, with peeling paint, leaks, and deteriorated fixtures. Similar conditions existed at Pham Phu Thu High School, with over 700 students, where the restroom ceilings were collapsing, floor tiles were broken, and outdated fixtures posed safety and hygiene risks.
In addition to infrastructure support, three primary schools—Tran Hung Dao, Nguyen Trong Nghia, and Phan Thanh—received digital libraries sponsored by the Hy Vong Foundation in collaboration with the FPT People’s Fund for the Community, FPT Corporation, and Vuihoc Company. Each library includes 15 tablets, headphones, and accounts for learning math, Vietnamese, and English. The devices are pre-installed with the Vuihoc app, facilitating interactive learning between students and teachers through digital resources like videos, storytelling, challenges, and learning projects.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hue, principal of Tran Hung Dao Primary School, stated that the school's infrastructure is lacking while funding is limited. Most students' families are farmers or factory workers, making it difficult to mobilize social resources for school repairs and digital library investments. "With the funding from the Hy Vong Foundation, students will have access to clean restrooms and a modern digital library for the new school year, meeting the demands of digital learning," Hue said.
A representative of the Hy Vong Foundation expressed hope that the donated computer equipment, learning software, and renovated infrastructure will provide teachers and students in Go Noi with better teaching and learning opportunities, thereby improving education quality and contributing to the development of the Go Noi region.
At the program, 220 scholarships were awarded to underprivileged and disadvantaged students in Go Noi by other funds and individuals, along with support for computers, musical instruments, and more.

Go Noi is a region encompassed by two branches of the Thu Bon River, comprising three island communes: Dien Trung, Dien Phong, and Dien Quang, within Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province. This area is associated with notable figures such as Hoang Dieu, Tran Cao Van, and Tran Thi Ly.
Renovating classrooms, repairing restrooms, and donating digital libraries are activities within the "School Light" program initiated by the Hy Vong Foundation in 2018. In 2025, the program aims to complete 68 school sites, build 100 new restroom facilities, and donate 50 digital libraries to children in disadvantaged areas across the country.
