Changshin Vietnam Co., Ltd., a South Korean-owned footwear manufacturer and Dong Nai's largest employer, announced on 12/12 its plan to distribute approximately 700 billion VND in Tet Binh Ngo 2026 bonuses to its 42,000 workers. This information was provided by Dang Tuan Tu, Union Chairman of Changshin Vietnam, located in Thanh Phu Industrial Park, Tan Trieu ward.
The bonus structure for this year remains similar to previous years, as stipulated in the collective labor agreement. Employees with one full year of service will receive a bonus equivalent to one month of their official contract salary. This amount increases by 5% for each additional year of service, up to a maximum of 200%, or two months' salary. Due to increases in the regional minimum wage, the company adjusted base salaries and provided seniority-based raises for long-term employees, resulting in higher actual payouts for individuals compared to last year. On average, production workers earn about 11 million VND monthly, while long-term employees earn between 18-20 million VND. The total expenditure for Tet bonuses is approximately 700 billion VND.

According to Tu, the company's orders have seen continuous growth this year and are projected to continue increasing throughout the first six months of the next year. The company is actively recruiting, adding an average of 400 new workers each month, who earn approximately 8,5-9 million VND monthly, excluding overtime. This year alone, the company hired an additional 6,000 people, bringing its total workforce to 42,000, the highest number in the past five years.
Beyond the lunar new year bonus, the company also provides bonuses for New Year's Day 2025, union gifts, and year-end parties. Throughout the year, employees also participate in multiple company-organized trips.
Other companies in Dong Nai province are also preparing Tet bonuses. TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, another South Korean-owned footwear manufacturer located in Tran Bien ward, anticipates bonus levels similar to last year. Bonuses at TKG Taekwang Vina range from 1,15-1,5 months' salary, depending on an employee's tenure and start date. Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company, a garment manufacturer in Thong Nhat commune, announced Tet bonuses for its 2,500 workers. The expected bonus is one month's salary, along with incentives. On average, each production worker at Dong Phu Cuong will receive 14,5 million VND, an increase of over 20% compared to last year.
Following its merger with Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai now has 81 planned industrial parks, with 59 currently established and operational, spanning 21,700 hectares. As a gateway to the Southeast region, the province is enhancing its appeal with the upcoming Long Thanh airport, alongside a network of seaports, expressways, and railways.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has requested localities, in coordination with the Management Boards of Industrial and Export Processing Zones, to gather information on salaries and Tet 2026 bonuses and submit reports to the Ministry before 25/12.
