The Khanh Hoa People's Council approved this policy on 15/8 to assist officials, public employees, and workers affected by the administrative reorganization following the merger with Ninh Thuan.

Those eligible for public housing but prefer to rent privately, or those not yet assigned public housing, will receive 4.5 million VND per person per month (equivalent to 76,000 VND/m2 for a 60 m2 house).
Public sector employees transferring to the new administrative center, or those reassigned to positions 30 km or more from their residence, will receive 3 million VND per person per month.
Additionally, each person will receive a 760,000 VND monthly travel allowance. The policy applies for a maximum of 24 months from the resolution's effective date, and over 2,200 people are expected to qualify.
Following the merger with Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa now covers over 8,555 km2 and has a population of over 2.24 million people, with 65 commune-level administrative units (48 communes, 16 wards, and one special zone).
