The central bloc includes representatives from Party agencies, the President's Office, National Assembly agencies, the Government and government-affiliated bodies, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ministry of Public Security.
The local bloc comprises: key provincial and city leaders; full-time National Assembly delegates serving in National Assembly delegations; representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; religious delegates; military personnel; police officers; members of the People's Courts; and members of the People's Procuracies.
Election day for the 16th National Assembly delegates and new-term People's Councils at all levels is scheduled for sunday, 15/3.
