According to the Prime Minister's decision signed on 15/5, the list of high technologies prioritized for investment and development covers strategic fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, cloud computing, internet of things (IoT), blockchain technology, quantum technology, and new generation microbiology technology.
The list also prioritizes renewable energy, clean energy, and advanced energy storage technologies, along with real-time disaster monitoring, forecasting, and early warning technologies integrated with AI.

In addition to the prioritized technologies, the Prime Minister also approved 100 high-tech products for encouraged development. These products include: AI and data-based recognition, analysis, forecasting, and control systems, equipment, and software; platforms supporting AI research, development, and application; personalized learning path software based on big data; and smart education systems serving STEAM.
The product list also features: unmanned aerial vehicles; new energy, environmentally friendly vehicles; biological medicines for medical and agricultural applications; and new generation vaccines, medical biologics, and diagnostic biologics.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Science and Technology to periodically review, evaluate, and propose updates to both the prioritized and encouraged high technology lists based on practical developments.
Organizations that received certificates or recognition for high technologies and high-tech products under the list approved by the Prime Minister in 2020 will continue to have these valid until the expiration date on their issued certificates.
