At 8h on 11/12, the monitoring station at the gate of Dai hoc Bach khoa Ha Noi on Giai Phong street, operated by Cuc Moi truong (Bo Nong nghiep va Moi truong), recorded an AQI of 227, a very unhealthy level.
The AQI measures air quality, reflecting pollution levels; higher readings indicate greater health impacts. This marks the third consecutive day this station has registered a very unhealthy level, making it the most severe pollution episode in Hanoi since the start of winter. Authorities attribute the pollution primarily to PM2.5 fine dust.
The two other Cuc Moi truong stations, located at 556 Nguyen Van Cu and Khuong Duy Tien park, recorded AQI levels of 189 and 151, respectively. Hanoi's environmental monitoring portal displays three stations that align with these three central stations.
