On 18/8, the Hanoi Department of Transport, in collaboration with Vinbus Ecology Transport Service Co. Ltd., launched the E11 electric bus route (Yen Phu - Hoan Kiem Lake - Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - Yen Phu). The route serves residents and tourists visiting the Hoan Kiem and Ba Dinh districts.

The route runs in two directions. The first begins at the Yen Phu parking lot, passing through the Long Bien transfer point, and then follows Tran Nhat Duat - Tran Quang Khai - Trang Tien - Hang Khay - Ba Trieu - Hai Ba Trung - Tho Nhuom - Trang Thi - Dien Bien Phu - Le Hong Phong - Ngoc Ha - Hoang Hoa Tham - Phan Dinh Phung - Hung Vuong - Thanh Nien streets, before returning to Yen Phu.
The return route starts at the Yen Phu parking lot, follows Yen Phu - Tran Nhat Duat, turns around at the intersection of Hang Khoai and Tran Nhat Duat, then continues on Yen Phu - Long Bien bus transfer point - Yen Phu - Thanh Nien - Thuy Khue - Mai Xuan Thuong - Hoang Hoa Tham - Ngoc Ha - Le Hong Phong - Dien Bien Phu - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Phan Boi Chau - Hai Ba Trung - Phan Chu Trinh - Ly Thai To - Ngo Quyen - Hang Voi - Hang Tre - Tran Nhat Duat - Yen Phu - Long Bien transfer point - Yen Phu, and finally back to the Yen Phu parking lot.
On peak days (Saturday and Sunday), the E11 route operates 112 trips (every 12 minutes). On weekdays (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), there are 90 trips (every 15 minutes). On off-peak days (Monday and Friday), there are 76 trips (every 18 minutes). The operating hours are from 7 a.m. to 6:12 p.m.
According to the Hanoi Department of Transport, the E11 route utilizes 10 electric buses, each with a capacity of approximately 60 passengers. This is the 7th electric bus route launched in 2025, bringing the total number of electric buses in the city to 108.
Hanoi’s network currently has 129 subsidized bus routes, of which 27 (20.9%) use clean energy: 17 electric buses and 10 CNG buses. The total number of green vehicles is 392 (20.7%), including 253 electric buses and 139 CNG buses. The city aims to transition its entire bus fleet to electricity or other green energy sources by 2030.
