The following streets will be completely closed to vehicles: Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Lai (from Ly Thai To to Dinh Tien Hoang), Le Thach, Dinh Le, Nguyen Xi, Trang Tien (from Dinh Tien Hoang to Ngo Quyen), Ngo Quyen (from Trang Tien to Le Lai), Ly Thai To (from Tran Nguyen Han to Le Lai), Hang Khay, Le Thai To, Hang Dau (from Lo Su to Dinh Tien Hoang), and Lo Su (from Hang Dau to Dinh Tien Hoang).
Vehicle access will also be prohibited in Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Tran Nguyen Han Street (from Ly Thai To to Dinh Tien Hoang), Luong Van Can (from Hang Hanh to Le Thai To), Bao Khanh (from Bao Khanh Alley to Le Thai To), Hang Bai (from Hai Ba Trung to Hang Khay), Ba Trieu (from Hai Ba Trung to Hang Khay), and the State Bank Square (the half adjacent to the Ly Thai To Monument flower garden).
The closures will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. on August 7, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on August 8, and from 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on August 9 and 10.

During the same period, Hanoi will temporarily restrict cargo trucks carrying 500 kg or more, passenger vehicles with 16 seats or more (except buses, garbage trucks, emergency vehicles, and vehicles with security permits), and limit private cars and motorcycles on several streets: Ngo Quyen, Ly Thai To, Tran Nguyen Han, Nguyen Huu Huan, Le Lai, Ba Trieu, Hang Bai, Ly Thuong Kiet, Tran Hung Dao, Hai Ba Trung, Le Thanh Tong, Phan Chu Trinh, Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du, Pho Hue, Hang Bong, Hang Gai, Hang Trong, Nha Tho, Nha Chung, and Quang Trung.
During the restrictions, vehicles from eastern and northeastern districts (Gia Lam, Long Bien, Phuc Loi, Viet Hung, etc.) traveling west or northwest (Hai Ba Trung, Dong Da, Tu Liem, O Dien) can use Nhat Tan Bridge, Long Bien Bridge, Vinh Tuy Bridge, Thanh Tri Bridge, and follow De 401, Tran Nhat Duat, Yen Phu, Thanh Nien, Vo Chi Cong, Ring Road 3, and vice versa.
Vehicles from northern districts (Tay Ho, Dong Anh, etc.) going to southern districts (Hoang Mai, Thanh Tri, etc.) can use Nhat Tan Bridge, Thang Long Bridge, and follow Vo Chi Cong, Pham Van Dong, Pham Hung, Ring Road 2, Ring Road 3, and vice versa.
On September 2, Vietnam will hold a ceremony and parade in Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (A80). The parade will include nearly 16,000 participants in 43 marching blocks, 18 stationary blocks, and 14 blocks of military and special forces vehicles from the Army and Police, representing ground, mechanized, air, and naval forces.
In preparation for the A80 celebration, a large-scale security and order parade will be held around Hoan Kiem Lake on August 10.
