During the ban, the Hanoi City Police will implement traffic diversion for restricted vehicles. Vehicles traveling from Thang Long Avenue to the Phap Van expressway and vice versa will follow the route: Lang - Hoa Lac (Thang Long Avenue) - national highway 21A - national highway 1A - provincial road 494 - Liem Tuyen interchange (Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway).

Vehicles heading from the Phap Van expressway to expressway 5B, old national highway 5, the Hanoi - Bac Giang expressway, and vice versa, should proceed from the Liem Tuyen interchange - national highway 21B - provincial road 499 - Thai Binh - Hung Yen expressway interchange - Thai Binh - Hung Yen expressway - Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway at Yen My interchange - Ring Road 3 interchange.

Vehicles from national highway 32 traveling to Thang Long Avenue should follow national highway 32 - national highway 21A or provincial roads 419, 421, 422, and 70. For those heading from national highway 32 to Thang Long Bridge, national highway 5, the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, or the Hanoi - Bac Giang expressway, the route is expressway 5B interchange - old national highway 5 interchange - Nguyen Van Cu - Ly Son - Truong Sa - Hoang Sa - Vo Van Kiet - Thang Long Bridge - Mai Dich - Ho Tung Mau (national highway 32).

Additionally, vehicles from the Hanoi - Lao Cai expressway, national highway 2, and related routes heading to Thang Long Avenue or national highway 32 can use the Hanoi - Lao Cai expressway via IC3, IC4 interchanges - national highway 2, national highway 2A - Vinh Thinh Bridge - national highway 32. For those traveling to the Hanoi - Bac Giang expressway, national highway 5, or the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, the route is Hanoi - Lao Cai expressway - national highway 2 - Vo Van Kiet or Vo Nguyen Giap - national highway 18 - Hanoi - Bac Giang expressway; alternatively, Hanoi - Lao Cai expressway - national highway 2 - Vo Van Kiet or Vo Nguyen Giap - Hoang Sa - Truong Sa - Ly Son - old national highway 5.
