Car overturns after accident, 2 km traffic jam on Ho Chi Minh City boulevard

A truck collided with a 5-seater car, overturning it and blocking Vo Van Kiet Boulevard (former District 1), causing extensive traffic congestion from the west towards the city center during rain on the afternoon of January 5.

Around 4 PM, a truck was traveling on Vo Van Kiet Road, heading from Thu Thiem Tunnel towards Lo Gom Bridge. Nearing the intersection with Tran Dinh Xu Street, the truck suddenly swerved over the median strip, crashing forcefully into a 5-seater car coming from the opposite direction.
