Train QB1 departs Hanoi station at 8:05 PM on even-numbered days, arriving at Dong Hoi station at 6:10 AM the following morning. The return train, QB2, departs Dong Hoi station at 3:20 PM on odd-numbered days, arriving in Hanoi at 4:15 AM the next day.

The 13-carriage train, manufactured in Vietnam, is equipped with Wi-Fi, climate control, 360-degree rotating seats, and berths with entertainment screens. Seat tickets start at over 600,000 VND, while berth tickets cost between 1 and 1.1 million VND depending on location. Discounts are available during the first 10 days of operation.

The train was built by Jinxin Vietnam Railway and Tourism Company using Chinese technology. A similar model previously underwent trials on the Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang route.
