The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment has reviewed and proposed several sites for temporary parks and flower gardens for the Tet holiday. These include the land plot at 8 Vo Van Tan, in Xuan Hoa ward. This 14,400 square meter site, part of the Phan Dinh Phung Sports Arena project, fronts four major streets: Pasteur, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, and Vo Van Tan.

Other sites include 135 Nguyen Hue, part of the Tax Department Store project, spanning 9,000 square meters and located between Nguyen Hue, Le Loi, and Pasteur streets. Also proposed is the nearly 4,000 square meter quadrilateral area bordered by Le Thanh Ton, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Nguyen Trung Truc, and Le Loi (SJC building).
Additional land plots include: 33 Nguyen Du; 34-36 and 42 Chu Manh Trinh, all in Sai Gon ward; 87 Cong Quynh, Cau Ong Lanh ward; 74 Ho Hao Hon - 289 Tran Hung Dao, Cau Ong Lanh ward; 2-4-6 Hai Ba Trung and 8-12 Le Duan, also in Sai Gon ward; and 152 Tran Phu, Cho Quan ward.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment stated that these prime land plots are currently fenced. They await project development, often stalled by legal procedures, planning adjustments, or changes in investors. Some locations are partially leased.
This initiative not only provides more public space but also prevents the waste of valuable land resources during prolonged investment procedural delays.
Beyond utilizing these nine land plots, Ho Chi Minh City plans to upgrade key areas for this year's Tet holiday, including Le Loi Boulevard, Ben Thanh Market, Dong Khoi Street, and Nguyen Hue Street.
