Bach Dang street, located along the Dong Ba river, was deeply inundated by over 0.5 meters. Many residents living on Bach Dang, Nguyen Chi Thanh, and Nguyen Du streets moved their vehicles onto Dong Ba bridge, which spans the Dong Ba river in Phu Xuan ward, to escape the floods.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicted that from tonight until tomorrow night, Hue city to Da Nang city, and the eastern parts of Quang Ngai and Dak Lak provinces will continue to experience heavy rain, with widespread rainfall of 200-400 millimeters, and some areas locally receiving over 700 millimeters. Over the next 6-12 hours, floodwaters on the Bo river, Huong river (Hue), and Vu Gia river (Da Nang) are expected to remain at high levels, at or above level three alert.
