After three 40-minute rehearsal flights on the morning of 25/7, the pilots successfully completed their mission. (Giang Huy) |
A four-aircraft formation maintained a 20-meter horizontal and 5-7 meter vertical separation in an echelon formation, approaching a simulated viewing stand at an altitude of 250 to 300 meters.
From engine start to shutdown, the formation leader continuously monitored flight parameters and was prepared to issue necessary commands.
Maintaining a consistent speed is crucial for holding formation; abrupt changes in speed, direction, or altitude are avoided. The formation leader also monitored weather conditions to ensure safety.
