Around 10 a.m. on 14/7, residents of Dong Hoa hamlet, Nong Cong commune, spotted a bull wandering along the road. Near a small park, the bull charged a woman riding a motorbike from the opposite direction, knocking both the woman and itself to the ground.

As the woman attempted to stand up, the bull attacked again, forcing her from the road onto the sidewalk. The bull only left after two men appeared and chased it away.

According to local authorities, the victim suffered a fractured rib and multiple scrapes. She is currently hospitalized for observation. The bull, recently purchased from Nghe An province, belongs to a resident of Dong Hoa hamlet. The owner reported that the bull escaped its enclosure and is now securely contained.

Nong Cong commune representatives said they will review the management of large livestock in densely populated areas. They will also educate livestock owners on ensuring safe enclosures and fences to prevent similar incidents.
