At 7 a.m., smoke and flames billowed from a 1,000 m2 factory belonging to a paint manufacturing company located in Khanh Loi neighborhood, Tan Khanh ward (formerly part of Tan Uyen city, old Binh Duong).
The factory contained flammable chemicals and solvents. Minutes later, the fire intensified, engulfing the entire factory, accompanied by loud explosions. Residents living near the fire moved some of their belongings out of their homes to prevent the fire from spreading and called for help to extinguish the flames.
The Fire Prevention and Fighting Police and Rescue and Rescue Team of Area 32 under TP HCM Police Department dispatched three fire trucks, a water tanker, and 24 officers and soldiers to the scene more than 10 minutes after the fire started. Due to the complex nature of the fire, the fire department requested the Command Center to send 7 more specialized vehicles for support.

Firefighters approached the fire from multiple directions, spraying water to extinguish the flames and prevent it from spreading to nearby areas. By nearly 9 a.m., the fire was largely under control. The fire occurred before workers entered the factory, so no casualties have been reported.
Authorities are currently assessing the damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
