Truong Phu Commune Police successfully returned 350 million VND and important documents to Nguyen Quoc Hung, 39, of Dong Thuan ward, on the morning of 17/4, after the items were found by a diligent jogger.

The discovery was made around 5 AM on 16/4 by Hoang Huy Nguyen, 30, a resident of Truong Phu commune. While on his morning jog, Nguyen spotted a black bag abandoned by the roadside. Upon inspecting its contents, he found a substantial amount of cash and identification documents. Demonstrating exemplary honesty, Nguyen immediately took the bag to the Truong Phu Commune Police station.

Police promptly initiated an investigation to identify the owner. Through their efforts, Nguyen Quoc Hung was confirmed as the rightful owner. Hung recounted losing the bag around 3 PM on 15/4, during his commute from the Tam Huong hamlet junction to the Xuan Lai hamlet crossroads within Truong Phu commune.

Following the successful verification, Truong Phu Commune Police arranged the official handover of the property to Hung, with Nguyen present as a witness. Expressing profound gratitude, Hung extended his thanks to Nguyen for his integrity and to the police force for their swift action in recovering his money and documents.

Truong Phu Commune Police lauded Nguyen's actions as a testament to honesty, highlighting it as an example that should be recognized and promoted throughout the community.
