Many female leaders gain voter confidence for national assembly candidacy

Voters in Hanoi residential areas expressed high confidence in several female central agency leaders during a consultation meeting for national assembly candidates of the 16th term.

The People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Dinh ward, Hanoi, recently organized a consultation meeting for residential voters regarding individuals nominated as candidates for the national assembly and people's councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

During the meeting, voters assessed that all candidates met the required standards and conditions, possessing political integrity, ethics, competence, and credibility. All voters present cast their ballots to express confidence.

Those who received confidence from residential voters included Bui Thi Minh Hoai, president of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Pham Thi Thanh Tra, deputy prime minister; Ha Thi Nga, vice president and secretary general of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Nguyen Thai Hoc, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations; and Do Thi Thu Thao, president of the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee.

The list also included Tran Thi Hoa Ry, vice chairwoman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Quang Van Huong, vice chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Tran Hong Nguyen, vice chairwoman of the National Assembly's Law and Justice Committee; Nguyen Huu Toan, vice chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Finance Committee; and Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, secretary of the Central Youth Union and chairwoman of the Central Children's Council.

Speaking on behalf of the candidates, Ha Thi Nga expressed sincere gratitude for the voters' confidence, stating that it serves as encouragement for them to continue self-improvement and dedicated service to the nation and its people. She affirmed that if elected to the national assembly and people's councils, each individual would uphold ethical qualities and fulfill their responsibilities in legislative and oversight duties.

Earlier, in Ha Dong ward, Hanoi, residential voters also held a consultation meeting and expressed confidence in Nguyen Thi Tuyen, vice president of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and president of the Vietnam Women's Union, who was nominated as a candidate for the 16th national assembly.

Voters noted Nguyen Thi Tuyen's strong training, extensive practical experience, and growth through grassroots roles. She has held many key leadership positions at local and central levels. All voters attending the meeting cast their ballots to express confidence in her.
