On the morning of 13/1, the Department of Vehicles and Transportation, under the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, held a send-off ceremony at Brigade 971 to commence its mission of transporting delegates for the Congress.
Major General Nguyen Que Lam, Director of the Department of Vehicles and Transportation, announced that 286 officers and drivers, along with 121 vehicles, were deployed to Brigade 971 for training and mission preparation. The military expects to transport 1,402 delegates from 25 Party delegations and invited guests attending the Congress.
According to the Department of Vehicles and Transportation, the training team, Brigade 971, and Z157 Factory ensured consistent technical quality and appearance of all vehicles during preparation. Currently, 100% of the professional training content and related tasks have met requirements, signifying readiness for the mission.

Major General Nguyen Que Lam commended the agencies and units for their efforts in completing assigned tasks, contributing to the overall success of the Congress. He instructed formation commanders to thoroughly understand their duties, coordinate closely with relevant agencies and units, and ensure absolute safety. Contingency plans for vehicles, technical support, fuel, and military medical services must be fully prepared. All forces are required to strictly adhere to state secret protection regulations and ensure safety during transport, particularly regarding information security to prevent any leaks. Drivers must comply with regulations, regularly inspect vehicle technical conditions, and follow travel protocols.
The 14th National Party Congress is scheduled to take place over 7 days, from 19/1 to 25/1, in Hanoi.
