Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai continues as President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front

Politburo member and Party Central Committee Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai has been re-elected by consultation to continue serving as President of the 11th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term.

On the morning of 13/5, Ha Thi Nga, Vice President and Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, announced the consultation results for the leaders of the 11th term, 2026-2031.

Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, in her sixties, hails from the former Ha Nam, now Ninh Binh province, and holds a Master of Law degree. She has served as a Party Central Committee member for four consecutive terms, from the 11th to the 14th, and as a Party Central Committee Secretary and Politburo member for two terms, the 13th and 14th.

During her career, she served as Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Farmers' Union for two years, followed by 10 years as Vice Chairwoman of the Central Inspection Committee.

In 4/2021, the Politburo assigned her as Head of the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization. In 5/2024, the Central Committee elected her as an additional member of the 13th Politburo.

By 7/2024, the Politburo appointed her as Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, a position she was re-elected to at the City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

From 11/2025 until now, she has held the position of President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
