According to the Mang Yang Commune People's Committee (CPC), the drainage system near Linh Nham bridge and other sections is ineffective. This causes flooding in homes, carrying soil, rocks, and debris, disrupting daily life and businesses located at the end of the drainage line. Additionally, some drainage ditches and sidewalks have been constructed poorly, hindering pedestrian movement.
The Dak Doa CPC also reported subpar asphalt surfacing on some road sections, with peeling occurring after the first rains of the season.
On Nguyen Hue street, the road surface is now higher than the sidewalk after the upgrade. This prevents proper drainage, leading to water overflowing onto the pavement. Some damaged drainage ditch covers have not been replaced promptly, creating a safety hazard.

The commune authorities have requested an independent quality assessment of the asphalt concrete surface. If it fails to meet standards, they advocate for complete removal and reconstruction according to proper specifications.
Ha Anh Thai, deputy director of Gia Lai's Department of Construction, confirmed that the investor has been urged to address the damage thoroughly. "The project hasn't been handed over to the province for maintenance yet, so the responsibility lies with Project Management Unit 2," Thai stated.
A representative from Project Management Unit 2 (Ministry of Construction) stated that contractors are currently focused on temporary repairs during the rainy season. Once the weather improves, they will remove the old asphalt and resurface all substandard sections.
