The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting announced that from the evening of 29/8 to 2/9, the Northern region will experience showers and thunderstorms. This is due to a tropical convergence zone moving across the southern Northern Delta and North Central region. Low temperatures will range from 23-27 degrees Celsius, with some mountainous areas seeing below 23 degrees. High temperatures will be between 29-33 degrees Celsius, occasionally exceeding 33 degrees. Specifically, on 31/8-1/9, high temperatures will generally be 29-32 degrees Celsius.
In Hanoi, 29/8 will see intermittent sunshine. From the night of 29/8 to 1/9, the city will experience scattered showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain in some areas. On 2/9, it will be sunny during the day with no rain at night. Low temperatures will be 24-27 degrees Celsius, and high temperatures 31-34 degrees Celsius. From 30/8-1/9, high temperatures will generally be 29-32 degrees Celsius.
Lao Cai and Quang Ninh provinces will have occasional showers and thunderstorms during the holiday. Sa Pa, Lao Cai, will see low temperatures of 18 degrees Celsius and high temperatures of 24-27 degrees Celsius, with a peak of 25 degrees Celsius on 31/8-1/9. Ha Long, Quang Ninh, will have low temperatures of 24-26 degrees Celsius and high temperatures of 29-33 degrees Celsius.

In the Central region, 29-30/8 will continue to be hot, with intense heat in some areas and high temperatures exceeding 37 degrees Celsius. The area from Nghe An to Quang Tri will be sunny during the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. Other areas will also experience isolated showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.
Low temperatures will range from 26-29 degrees Celsius, and high temperatures from 32-36 degrees Celsius, with some locations exceeding 37 degrees Celsius.
From the evening of 30/8 to 2/9, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Tri will also see showers and thunderstorms. Low temperatures in this area will be 24-28 degrees Celsius, and high temperatures 28-31 degrees Celsius.
In Hue, 29-30/8 will be hot and sunny, with no rain at night. From 31/8 to 2/9, there will be occasional showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures on 29-30/8 will reach 35-37 degrees Celsius, then decrease to 30-33 degrees Celsius.
Da Nang will be hot and sunny on 29-30/8, with no rain at night. From 31/8 to 2/9, occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected in the late afternoon and evening. High temperatures will be 35-37 degrees Celsius during the first two days, then drop to 30-33 degrees Celsius.
From Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa, 29-30/8 will be hot. Quy Nhon, Gia Lai, will have high temperatures of 32-36 degrees Celsius. Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, will see 33-36 degrees Celsius. Specifically for Nha Trang, from 31/8 to 2/9, there will be occasional showers and thunderstorms at night.
In the Central Highlands, days will see intermittent sunshine, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. Da Lat, Lam Dong, will have low temperatures of 17-19 degrees Celsius and high temperatures of 21-23 degrees Celsius. Across the entire region, low temperatures will range from 21-24 degrees Celsius, and high temperatures from 27-30 degrees Celsius.
The Southern region will be sunny during the day, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. Ho Chi Minh City will experience low temperatures of 24-27 degrees Celsius and high temperatures of 31-34 degrees Celsius. Can Tho will have low temperatures of 25-27 degrees Celsius and high temperatures of 30-33 degrees Celsius.
This year's National Day holiday spans five days, from 29/8 to 2/9.
