At the apartment building, residents brought many used clothes for the flood victims.
Hoai Minh, from Tay Nha Trang ward, stated his house is on Luong Dinh Cua street. In previous years, when the reservoir discharged water, it only flooded his porch, making him complacent. Last night, after having coffee with a friend, he returned to find water had risen to his living room. "Now I only have one set of clothes left, fortunately, I received support from various units", he said.

Meanwhile, outside, heavy rain persisted. From early evening, hundreds of Nha Trang residents gathered at two field tents set up by the military at Ngoc Hoi intersection, registering information about relatives still trapped in flooded areas, awaiting rescue teams. Throughout the night, the rain continued, and water levels rose higher in many areas.
Tran Quoc An, 65, from Bac Nha Trang ward, stood at a temporary shelter, waiting for rescue teams to bring his elderly parents from the flooded area. He mentioned that in previous years, floodwaters did not enter his house, but this year the water rose quickly, almost reaching the roof, about 2 meters high. "Now all my property is damaged, I just hope my parents are safe", he said.
Nearby, Ho Minh Chien, from Nha Trang ward, registered his wife and children on the waiting list for rescue. "I couldn't get home in time from work; the water rose quickly, and my wife and child have been trapped without food until now", he said.
Rescue forces brought people from flooded areas to safety during the night, while residents continued to mobilize more vehicles for rescue.
During the recent floods in Khanh Hoa, 14 people died, and about 9,000 houses were submerged and damaged.

Prolonged heavy rain, combined with water discharges from regulating reservoirs, caused severe flooding in many areas of Khanh Hoa. From 16/11 to present, 54 communes and wards across 162 locations have been inundated. Authorities have evacuated 846 households, totaling over 3,000 people, to safe areas.

Over the past five days of flooding, Khanh Hoa mobilized over 15,000 military personnel, police, and self-defense militia, along with 227 vehicles, to participate in rescue and evacuation efforts for isolated residents.

By midnight, many soldiers, wearing raincoats, slept on boats after a strenuous day of rescue.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on 21/11, from Da Nang to northern Khanh Hoa, rainfall was widespread at 50-120 mm, with some areas experiencing intense rainfall of 150 mm in three hours. Subsequently, on the night of 22/11 and throughout 23/11, rainfall in the area decreased to 30-60 mm, though some places still saw very heavy rain exceeding 120 mm. From 24/11, the rain is expected to decrease rapidly.
