A representative from Noi Bai International Airport attributed the 2026 ranking improvement to infrastructure developments. The airport focused on renovating and expanding the check-in areas at both passenger terminals, optimizing space and increasing operational capacity to ensure smooth operations even during peak periods.
The airport also invested in a comprehensive upgrade of its smart equipment systems. From check-in and security screening areas to baggage conveyor systems, all are integrated with modern technologies to reduce waiting times and provide maximum convenience for passengers.
Noi Bai also scored points for its comprehensive digital transformation strategy. The implementation of the airport collaborative decision making (A-CDM) model enhanced air traffic control efficiency, helping airlines save fuel, improve on-time performance, and reduce environmental emissions.
