Two cars collide on Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway, 4 injured

While traveling on the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway during heavy rain, a 7-seater car collided with a 29-seater passenger bus, injuring 4 people, noon on 4/7.

The Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway management unit reported the accident occurred at 11:47 AM at km85 in Kien Thuy commune, Hai Phong city, on the lane heading towards Hanoi. The passenger bus overturned, blocking lane 2 and lane 3, while the 7-seater car rested in lane 1.

4 individuals sustained serious injuries and are receiving emergency care in Hai Phong, while several others suffered minor injuries. Both vehicles were heavily damaged.

Heavy rain affected Hai Phong at the time of the accident, influenced by Typhoon Maysak.
