The airline will utilize Airbus A350 aircraft, configured with 305 seats, on some European routes. Previously, Vietnam Airlines typically operated these routes with Boeing 787 aircraft, which offered 274 seats.
In March, Vietnam Airlines will adjust 11 round-trip flights between Hanoi, TP HCM, and Munich, Germany, using Airbus A350 aircraft. This deployment of wide-body aircraft will add nearly 1,000 seats during the peak travel period between Vietnam and Europe.

To ensure safety, Vietnam Airlines' flights to Europe currently operate via appropriate flight corridors, avoiding conflict zones.
Flights are rerouted in two directions: a northern corridor through Central Asia or China, or a southern corridor through South Asia and the Arabian Peninsula. These detours extend each flight by 10-15 minutes and increase operating costs by approximately 2,000 USD per flight.
Vietnam Airlines is currently the sole domestic carrier offering direct flights to several European nations, including France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Russia.
