Trial run of voting procedures before election day

In preparation for the election of Quoc Hoi deputies and Hoi dong nhan dan representatives at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, election committees in Dong Da ward have reviewed, checked progress, and conducted trial runs of the voting procedures at each polling station.

On the morning of 12/3, Election Committee No. 6 of Dong Da ward inspected, reviewed, and conducted a trial run of the voting process at polling station No. 22, where 2,908 voters are registered to cast their ballots.

Voters will proceed to a verification desk where the ward Election Committee will cross-reference their voter cards before they enter the polling area.

Voters review the list of candidates for the 16th Quoc Hoi to select and cast their votes for their preferred candidates.

Voters mark their ballots according to instructions printed on the ballot paper. If a voter does not approve of any candidate, they should draw a horizontal line through that candidate's full name.

When marking their ballots, voters must maintain secrecy; no one, including members of the polling team, is allowed to view the ballot's content. On the ballot, voters must not circle, cross out, underline, or strike through the names of candidates; nor should they add special marks or write in names not on the candidate list.

Voters must not cast votes for more candidates than the number specified on the ballot, nor should they submit a blank ballot. If a ballot is spoiled, the voter has the right to request a new one.

After completing their ballot, voters must personally place it into the ballot box under the observation of the polling team.

Before voting begins, the polling team openly inspects the main and auxiliary ballot boxes in front of voters to ensure they contain no ballots or other objects. Afterward, the ballot boxes are sealed with paper bearing the polling team's stamp before the official voting commences, ensuring transparency and fairness.

After casting their vote, voters proceed to the polling team's desk to have their voter card stamped “Voted” on the front, upper-left corner, completing their exercise of the right to vote.

Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, a member of the Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Ward Hoi dong nhan dan, and Head of Election Committee No. 6, inspects preparations at the polling station, including the voting location, ceremonial decorations, posted lists of voters and candidates, and conditions ensuring security, order, and facilities for election day.

Voters check the posted lists to ensure all family members are included in the voter registry, preventing anyone from being overlooked for participation in the election.

The Election Committee for polling station No. 22, responsible for residential groups 16, 17, and 18 of Dong Da ward, is completing its final preparations to welcome voters on 15/3. On 15/3, voters nationwide will cast ballots to elect 500 deputies to the 16th Quoc Hoi and representatives to the Hoi dong nhan dan for the 2026-2031 term. Giang Huy
