At 0 h on 17/2, on New Year's Eve of Tet Binh Ngo 2026, President Luong Cuong delivered a Tet greeting message to compatriots, soldiers nationwide, and the Vietnamese community abroad.

"The Spring of Binh Ngo has arrived. At this moment of transition from the old year to the new, I affectionately send to compatriots, comrades, soldiers nationwide, and our compatriots abroad wishes for a peaceful, healthy, and happy new year. I respectfully extend the best wishes to people and international friends, wishing a new year of peace, happiness, and shared development," he said.

The President emphasized that in the year At Ty 2025, the country traversed a path marked by many important, significant events and achieved numerous proud accomplishments. This was a year when Vietnam faced many difficulties and challenges amidst rapid, complex, and unpredictable developments in the world and regional situation, along with severe natural disasters that caused heavy losses and much grief and hardship for compatriots.

With resilient spirit and self-reliance, the entire Party, people, and armed forces united and worked together, harnessing the strength of the entire nation and the assistance of international friends. "We have accomplished all major objectives set forth," he stated.

Notable achievements include: Independence, sovereignty, unity, territorial integrity, and a peaceful environment were maintained; economic growth among the world's leaders, elevating Vietnam to a middle-income country; social welfare was prioritized; political and social stability was ensured; national defense and security were maintained and strengthened; foreign affairs and international integration were advanced, with Vietnam's standing and prestige continuing to rise on the international stage; creating an important foundation for the country to enter a new era of development.

The new year Binh Ngo 2026 marks the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress. The President expressed confidence that with a fervent patriotic tradition, spirit of solidarity, resilient will, and strong aspiration to advance, the entire Party, people, and armed forces will continue to unite and work together. They will seize all opportunities, overcome all difficulties and challenges, strongly promoting the spirit of self-confidence, self-mastery, self-reliance, and national pride, constantly innovating and acting decisively to successfully realize the goal of building a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam.

"In the joy of welcoming the new Spring, once again, I wish compatriots, comrades, soldiers nationwide, and our compatriots abroad a new year of new victories and new successes; may our nation and people grow increasingly prosperous, enjoying a life of abundance, freedom, and happiness," the President concluded his Tet Binh Ngo 2026 greeting message.
