Hanoi's People's Council recently approved a resolution to name and adjust the length of several roads, streets, and public works within the city. This initiative includes naming 51 new roads, streets, and An Hoa Park.
Many of the newly named streets honor significant relics and heritage complexes, such as: Chua Mia, Duong Lam, Cam Lam, Chua Tram Gian, and Chua Tram. This effort helps preserve historical memory and promotes the capital's cultural values.
Additionally, several streets bear the names of distinguished individuals, scientists, artists, and historical-cultural locations, including: Nguyen Huu An, Vu Nam Long, Nguyen Long, Do Cao Mai, Bui Huy Dap, Quang Dung, Dai Yen, Ngoc Hoa, Phung Chau, Long Chau, Yen Khe, Ly Trien, Duong Lam, and Cam Lam.
Notably, the late Professor, Academician Vu Tuyen Hoang, has a street named after him in Hoang Liet ward. Vu Tuyen Hoang Street is over 1,4 km long and 20,5 m wide. It begins at the intersection with Hoang Liet Street, opposite the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Liet ward and Hoang Liet Primary School, and extends to the intersection with Linh Duong Street, adjacent to the People's Committee of Hoang Liet ward.
