On the afternoon of 20/3, a group of workers constructing an eight-classroom building and technical infrastructure experienced an incident while on a steel scaffold. Three individuals, Dao Vinh Long, 43 years old, Le Van Khai, 31 years old, and Tu Ngoc Loi, 31 years old, fell to the ground as they were preparing to end their shift.

Workers at the scene provided first aid and called for vehicles to transport the victims to Dak Nong General Hospital. Dao Vinh Long died from severe injuries, while the other two suffered injuries and are currently receiving treatment in stable condition.

According to a report from the Gia Nghia Area Investment and Construction Project Management Board, the workers were plastering walls on an installed scaffold when the accident occurred. All three slipped and fell while descending.

The project, classified as a civil engineering project of category three, is managed by the Gia Nghia Area Investment and Construction Project Management Board as the investor. Van Thinh Dak Nong Construction Consulting Company Limited is the contractor, and Hoang Thach Dak Nong One Member Company Limited is the supervising entity.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
