On the afternoon of 15/8, the Namsony campus of Hoa Dao Preschool was inaugurated and handed over to the teachers and 75 Hmong students in Ta Dung commune, Lam Dong province. The Hope Foundation renovated the school with support from Volvo Car Vietnam.
Previously, this campus lacked access to the national power grid and proper restrooms, causing inconvenience and impacting health.

Moldy plaster was removed from the classrooms, which were then repainted and fitted with new glass windows.
The school also received 12 solar panels with a capacity of 6.96 kWp, along with a converter and storage system, ensuring power for essential devices.

Teachers decorated the renovated classroom at the village 11 campus in preparation for the new school year.
Tong Thi Dieu Nga, principal of Hoa Dao Preschool, said that with electricity, the school can now equip classrooms with fans, lighting, and potentially a television. This will also ease the burden on teachers.

80 km from the Namsony campus, in Quang Hoa commune, the village 11 preschool received funding to renovate seven classrooms and a restroom, providing 230 students with a safe and clean learning environment.
Phan Thi Dao, principal of Quang Hoa Preschool, said the support has given the campus a fresh new look.

Over 300 gifts, including backpacks, teddy bears, snacks, milk, and school supplies, were given to the children at both campuses.
This Lam Dong initiative is part of the "New School Clothes" project run by the Hope Foundation since 2022. Volvo Car Vietnam contributed one billion VND to the program.
To date, the program has supported renovations at nearly 140 schools nationwide. In 2025, the program aims to renovate 55 campuses.
