Several bystanders used tools to pry open the wheel and free the girl's leg after about 10 minutes. She was then taken to a medical center where X-rays revealed a fracture in her lower tibia. She was subsequently transferred to a hospital for further treatment.
Doctors recommend that parents ensure children sit properly and position their feet correctly when riding on motorbikes. They also advise equipping bikes with rear wheel guards to prevent children from getting their feet caught. Furthermore, as wheels often accumulate dirt and bacteria, injuries from such incidents can easily become infected. Children with such injuries should be taken to a medical facility for prompt treatment to avoid complications.
