Tanker truck crashes into home, one dead

A tanker truck veered off Provincial Road 752C and crashed into a residential home, killing one woman and injuring another.

Minh Duc, Dong Nai – A tanker truck veered off Provincial Road 752C and crashed into a residential home on the afternoon of 17/7, killing a 36-year-old woman and injuring another individual. The driver, Nguyen Thanh Luyen, 30, was operating the Dong Nai-registered vehicle.

The incident occurred when the tanker, traveling on Provincial Road 752C from the Viet Kieu Industrial Park intersection towards the Minh Duc Commune People's Committee headquarters, suddenly swerved into a house near the T&T intersection in Binh Minh hamlet. The impact caused the front wall of the residence to collapse.

Lam Thi Viet, 36, and another person were inside the home at the time of the crash and were unable to escape the approaching vehicle. Nearby residents rushed to the scene to assist, extracting both individuals for emergency medical attention. Despite efforts, Viet did not survive.

Following the accident, authorities immediately cordoned off the area to conduct an investigation into the cause.
