The provincial People's Committee announced this information at a conference to adjust the provincial master plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, on the afternoon of 28/4. The newly expanded Tay Ninh province covers an area of over 8,500 square km, has a population of over 3.2 million people, and features three development centers.
Among these, Duc Hoa - Hau Nghia will serve as the administrative and political center, while also developing its economy, finance, services, logistics, high technology, digital technology, and education sectors.

The Tan Ninh - Long Hoa area is designated as a cultural, educational, sports, tourism, trade, and service center for the Southeast region. Tan An - Long An will be a hub for trade, services, industry, and high technology.
According to the master plan, the province will establish three socio-economic zones: an industrial, service, and urban zone connected to Ho Chi Minh City; a border-gate economic zone focusing on high-tech agriculture and eco-tourism; and a zone for renewable energy and green economy development, linked with Dau Tieng Lake, Lo Go - Xa Mat National Park, and the border area.
The locality also plans for six economic corridors, three development axes, and one border belt.
For the period 2026-2030, Tay Ninh aims for an average annual GRDP growth of 10-10.5%; a per capita GRDP of 8,000-8,500 USD; and an average per capita income of approximately 94 million dong.
