Around 4 PM on 2/8, a fire broke out in a three-story house with an attic, approximately 35 square meters in size, located on a small lane off of 220 Bac Cau Street in Bo De ward. The house is about 200 meters from the main road. Three children were trapped inside.
The fire started on the first floor, blocking the main exit with flames and smoke, preventing the children from escaping.
Hanoi Police Command Center dispatched fire and rescue teams from districts 1 and 18, along with three fire trucks and a water tanker, to the scene.

Firefighters worked in two teams: one focused on extinguishing the fire and preventing it from spreading to the upper floors, while the other searched for and rescued those trapped inside via the staircase.
By around 4:20 PM, the fire was extinguished. Firefighters brought the three children, who were trapped on the second floor, down to safety and handed them over to medical personnel. The children, identified as the homeowner's, are now in stable condition.
