Drivers and residents attempted to extinguish the flames using mini fire extinguishers and water, but their efforts were unsuccessful. Within a short time, the fire engulfed the entire truck and then spread to two adjacent container trucks.

"Thick smoke billowed with loud explosions, forcing many to quickly move their vehicles away to prevent further spread," one driver stated.

The Ho Chi Minh City fire department deployed three specialized vehicles and dozens of firefighters to the scene. After about 30 minutes, the blaze was largely contained.

The fire destroyed three container trucks along with much of their contents.

According to residents, the parking lot spans approximately 1,000 square meters and regularly houses dozens of cargo trucks overnight.
