Tourist electric car strikes three pedestrians

An electric car bearing the City Tour Quy Nhon logo struck a group of pedestrians crossing the street, resulting in one fatality and two injuries on the evening of 1/8.

Around 8:30 PM, a red, four-wheeled electric tourist vehicle (the driver's identity remains unclear) was traveling through Nguyen Tat Thanh Square in Quy Nhon ward.

Upon reaching a pedestrian crossing, the electric car hit a group of people crossing the street. The impact sent three people to Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital and damaged the vehicle's windshield.

According to a representative from Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital, one of the victims died before reaching the hospital, while the other two sustained minor injuries.

Quy Nhon has three electric vehicle businesses operating approximately 115 vehicles that cater to tourists, offering convenient transportation on crowded streets.
