Transfer of mass mobilization tasks from Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee

The Central Committee agrees to transfer advisory tasks on mass mobilization to the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations, and to rename the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.

The Party Central Committee approved this policy during the 14th term's 3rd Plenum. Following the transfer of these responsibilities, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission will be renamed the Central Propaganda Commission. The Politburo is now tasked with reviewing and making a decision within its authority.

The Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission was established in 2/2025, formed by merging the Central Propaganda Commission and the Central Mass Mobilization Commission. This body serves as an advisory agency to the Party Central Committee, and directly to the Politburo and the Secretariat, on propaganda, mass mobilization, and party building across political, ideological, and ethical dimensions.

Currently, Trinh Van Quyet heads the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission. The commission has 8 deputy heads: Pham Tat Thang, Ngo Dong Hai, Nguyen Quang Duc, Tran Thanh Lam, Trieu Tai Vinh, Phan Xuan Thuy, Vu Thanh Mai, and Dinh Thi Mai.
