Two cars crash into Saigon Major Seminary wall

A seven-seater vehicle collided with a four-seater car, breaking a decorative gate before crashing into the wall of Saigon Major Seminary on the afternoon of 24/7, while descending the Ba Son Bridge.

The incident occurred at approximately 13h30 on 24/7, when a seven-seater vehicle, driven by a male, was traveling on Ba Son Bridge. The car was heading from the Thu Thiem residential area towards the Le Duan - Dinh Tien Hoang intersection in Saigon Ward. After descending the bridge's slope, the seven-seater car unexpectedly struck a four-seater vehicle from behind, pushing it over ten meters. This initial collision caused the breakage of a decorative gate before both vehicles ultimately crashed into the wall of Saigon Major Seminary.

Following the accident, the driver of the seven-seater vehicle showed signs of fatigue and was assisted by passersby who took him for emergency medical care. Fortunately, the driver of the four-seater car was uninjured. At the scene, both car fronts were deformed, with debris scattered across the road. An oil tank from one of the vehicles also leaked onto the street.

Hung, a local resident near the incident site, stated that the driver of the seven-seater vehicle appeared to be speeding before the collision. He recounted, "The two cars hit a tree, which stopped them. Fortunately, they didn't crash into the nearby bus stop where several people were waiting." This suggests the potential for a more severe outcome had the vehicles not been halted by the tree.

The vehicles were removed from the scene. *Dinh Van*

By 15h, traffic police had arrived to document the scene and oversee the removal of the damaged vehicles, ensuring the area was cleared.
