At approximately 8:07 p.m. on 6/4, at the railway crossing Km788+515 in Thanh Khe ward, two employees, Truong Thi Diep Thuy and Nguyen Thi Mong Tuyen, closed the barrier for a train traveling from Da Nang station to Kim Lien.
When vehicles had stopped, a woman intentionally pushed her motorbike past the barrier and entered the railway crossing area. Despite being reminded, she refused to comply, stopped her vehicle within the crossing, and verbally abused the guards.
About four minutes later, the woman returned with another woman and used a helmet to attack the heads and faces of the two female crossing guards. The two women also pushed and dragged the victims into the middle of the railway crossing to continue the assault, only stopping when passersby intervened.
The assault left Thuy and Tuyen with multiple head and facial injuries and psychological trauma, requiring emergency treatment at Da Nang Hospital. The management unit deployed replacement personnel to ensure safe train operations.
That night, representatives from Quang Nam - Da Nang Railway Joint Stock Company worked with the Thanh Khe ward police, requesting an urgent investigation and strict handling of those who assaulted the crossing guards while they were on duty.
Initial verification revealed that the two women who assaulted the guards reside directly behind the crossing guard station and had previously caused disturbances and threatened employees there on multiple occasions.

Khuat Thanh Liem, Head of the Technical Safety Department (Quang Nam - Da Nang Railway Joint Stock Company), stated that as of the morning of 7/4, the two assaulted female employees were still under medical observation at the hospital.
"This incident is serious; it directly harms the railway traffic safety enforcement personnel and poses a potential risk to train operations," Khuat Thanh Liem said.
