Veteran training and recruitment program for Xanh SM drivers

Military personnel completing their service will be trained and recruited as Xanh SM drivers.

On 30/7, GSM and Thai Son Vocational Training Center (under Thai Son Corporation - Ministry of National Defense) signed a cooperation agreement to train and recruit veterans as Xanh SM drivers.

Under the agreement, Thai Son Center will recruit and provide automotive driving training to military personnel completing their service, ensuring teaching quality meets official standards and regulations. Trainees will be equipped with professional skills, service etiquette, communication standards, and discipline. These qualities will help them become qualified drivers within Xanh SM's operational system.

The subsidized tuition fee for trainees is 18.15 million Vietnamese dong per course, excluding testing fees, licensing fees, and simulator training costs. Trainees can choose a flexible two-part payment plan: 10.15 million dong upon application and 8 million dong after completing the theory section. Xanh SM can provide advances for the second payment as agreed upon by both parties, alleviating immediate financial burdens.

Upon completing the training course, qualified trainees will be officially recruited to work at Xanh SM with competitive salaries and a professional environment. The team of full-time drivers, honed by their military experience, will enhance the quality of Xanh SM's drivers and services, providing peace of mind to customers.

Nguyen Van Thanh, Global CEO of GSM, stated that soldiers embody courage and discipline. "These qualities will be valuable assets to the Xanh SM team, driving new standards for the transportation service industry," Thanh said.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Van Viet, Director of Thai Son Center, affirmed that this is not only a stable career choice but also an opportunity for trainees to contribute to the community in a new role.

GSM is a global company founded by Vingroup Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong, with a mission to promote green transportation through electric vehicles and modern technology. GSM provides electric ride-hailing services in four countries: Vietnam, Laos (under the Xanh SM brand), Indonesia (Green SM), and the Philippines (Green GSM), offering an environmentally friendly VinFast electric vehicle experience.

Thai Son Vocational Training Center, under Thai Son Corporation - Ministry of National Defense, provides automotive driving training for various license classes in accordance with the law. With over 30 years of experience and modern facilities, the center is a reputable address for training, testing, and skill enhancement for tens of thousands of veteran trainees nationwide.
