Vietravel sponsors Vietnam Vibes contest to spread national pride

Vietravel is sponsoring the contest with prizes worth over 100 million VND to spread love for Vietnam and inspire national pride.

In anticipation of Vietnam's 80th National Day on 2/9, VnExpress and Vietravel have launched the Vietnam Vibes by Vietravel photo and short video contest. The contest aims to celebrate the beauty of Vietnam, its people, and its journey of innovation and integration.

Open to Vietnamese citizens and international friends of Vietnam, the contest seeks to spread national pride, foster love for the country, and inspire aspirations for development within the community.

Submissions should reflect images and moments showcasing Vietnamese culture, nature, life, and people. Works incorporating symbolic elements, such as images of the national flag, are especially encouraged.

The contest is sponsored by Vietravel, a long-standing company in domestic and international tourism. Their support of Vietnam Vibes continues their commitment to connecting communities through activities that promote the country's image and nurture love for Vietnam.

With Vietravel's sponsorship, the contest offers eight prizes across two categories: photo and video, with four prizes in each. The first prize in each category includes 10 million VND in cash and a 10 million VND travel voucher from Vietravel. The remaining prizes—second, third, and honorable mention—have a total value of 15 million VND, 5 million VND, and 7 million VND, respectively.

In addition to the jury prizes, there's an honorable mention award for the entry with the most shares or likes on social media or the program's website. Winning entries will be featured on VnExpress's media platforms.

Nguyen Nguyet Van Khanh, Marketing Director of Vietravel, shared that the company is proud to support the contest. She described it as a meaningful platform to honor Vietnam's beauty and inspire love for their homeland in Vietnamese people and international friends alike. Beyond their role as a travel agency, Vietravel strives to promote Vietnamese culture, history, and landscapes through every journey.

"Vietravel believes each entry in Vietnam Vibe will be an authentic glimpse of a changing, vibrant, inspiring, and proud Vietnam. This reflects the core value Vietravel has pursued for over 30 years: constantly connecting people with the beauty of their homeland, from real-world experiences to artistic expressions," she emphasized.

Khanh also expressed her hope that Vietnam Vibe by Vietravel will continue to inspire the community and enrich the imagery of Vietnam in the hearts of its people and international visitors.

How to participate

The contest accepts submissions from 23/7 to 23/8. Participants can submit photos or short videos on the program's website. Individuals or groups may submit only one entry per category.

Photo submissions must be in JPG format, with a minimum short side of 3,000 pixels and a file size of at least 2MB. Video submissions must be in MP4 format, in vertical aspect ratio, with a maximum duration of 1 minute 30 seconds, Full HD quality, and a file size not exceeding 200MB.

Readers can submit their photos/short videos here.

The jury includes singer Hong Nhung, content creator Khoai Lang Thang, and Associate Professor Dr. Lam Minh Chau, a senior lecturer at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Finalists will be announced on 25/8, and judging will take place from 25/8 to 29/8. The award ceremony is scheduled for early September at the VnExpress office.

Vietnam Vibes is not just an art contest; it's a platform for visual storytelling where the community can share their perspectives on a rising Vietnam. Each photo or video offers an authentic, vivid snapshot of the country's development journey, expressed through the creative vision and emotions of each participant.
