Viettel showcases military equipment

Viettel introduced a series of military equipment at its Party Congress on 5/8, including devices researched and developed by the corporation.

The S125-VT system is a product researched, improved, and designed by Viettel to destroy airborne attackers. This is one of Viettel's military systems that will participate in the parade commemorating the 80th National Day.

Attending Viettel's Party Congress, Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Central Military Commission, and Deputy Minister of National Defense (second from left), closely observed the tactical anti-drone reconnaissance and jamming system. Lieutenant General Tao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of Viettel Group (third from left), said this equipment can reconnoiter, orient, track, and suppress drones.

The Viettel Group Party Congress took place at the group's headquarters in Cau Giay, Hanoi.

The "Truong Son" missile system, researched and produced by Viettel, is a core component of the coastal defense system, possessing the ability to calculate firing elements and automatically determine the missile's trajectory.

Each command vehicle can simultaneously control eight self-propelled launchers in the combat area. Each launcher carries 4 "Song Hong" missiles entirely researched, designed, and manufactured by Viettel.

Major General Nguyen Dinh Chien, Party Secretary and Deputy General Director of Viettel Group (second from left), introduced the medium-range reconnaissance UAV researched and developed by the unit. This equipment operates completely automatically, performing reconnaissance, surveillance, rescue, and data provision.

Tactical combat UAVs with a maximum cruising speed of 120 km/h allow for covert attacks and can be deployed down to the soldier level.

The mobile medium-range coastal surveillance radar has the most impressive height in the display area. The device can detect and locate targets operating at sea and at low altitudes. It can operate continuously 24/7 with a scan rate of 6 revolutions per minute.

The reconnaissance system integrated on a pickup truck can jam and counter tactical drones. The device can orient, identify, track, and suppress drones.

The X-band fire control radar can detect and track airborne targets, transmitting target information to the ballistic calculation system to control short-range air defense fire systems to destroy targets. This equipment can operate continuously 24/7 with deployment and retrieval times under 20 minutes and is entirely researched and produced by Viettel.

A product suite of radio equipment, thermal imaging cameras, and medium-range lasers equipped for ground, naval, and air forces. This equipment is suitable for narrow and medium-range combat.
