The blaze erupted around 4 PM inside the warehouse, situated near the intersection of Pham Hung and Nguyen Van Linh, approximately one kilometer from the Trung Son residential area. Upon discovering the fire, employees quickly evacuated, raising alarms, and attempted to extinguish the flames with local residents using available resources. However, their initial efforts were unsuccessful as the fire spread rapidly.

Minh Tan, a resident living nearby, reported that the warehouse typically handles packaging for canned bird's nest drinks. He and many others rushed to assist, but the fire quickly ignited packaging and paper boxes, spreading rapidly and generating a large column of smoke. The intensity of the blaze prompted several car owners parked near the facility to hastily move their vehicles to safety.
Given the warehouse's location within a densely populated residential area, many nearby households expressed concern about the fire spreading to their homes. Responding to the escalating situation, fire police dispatched 7 specialized vehicles and more than 50 firefighters to the scene.
Firefighting teams strategically approached the incident from two directions: the main road and an adjacent alley. They extended hoses deep inside the structure to combat the flames and prevent further spread into the surrounding neighborhood.

After approximately one hour, firefighters brought the blaze under control. The incident resulted in significant damage, with nearly half of the warehouse area burned and a section of its corrugated iron roof collapsing. Many goods and assets stored inside were also damaged. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
