Around 7:30 a.m., the windstorm hit Phuoc Ninh and Phuoc Truong hamlets, affecting 20 homes. Three houses were completely destroyed, 17 had their roofs blown off, and several outbuildings were also damaged. The storm did not cause any casualties.

Residents reported that heavy rain preceded the windstorm, which swept through in less than two minutes, tearing off roofs and scattering debris and belongings. The aftermath left a scene of devastation, with trees uprooted and homes damaged.
Local authorities immediately responded to the scene, assisting residents with cleanup and recovery efforts. The Vinh Phuoc Commune People's Committee (CPC) is currently assessing the damage to provide timely support to affected residents.
Yesterday morning, a similar storm hit Nha Lau 2 and Xeo Dung hamlets in Ninh Thanh Loi commune, damaging 22 homes. Five of these houses were completely destroyed, and 17 lost their roofs.

Later that day, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai visited the affected families, offering support and encouragement. He urged local authorities to expedite relief efforts and assist residents in rebuilding their lives.
