The "81-Year Journey - For National Security" marathon kicked off at 4 am on 2/8, drawing 5,000 runners, including 450 public security officers. The race offered four distances: 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km, held within the framework of Sports Festival 2026 at NovaWorld Phan Thiet (Tien Thanh ward, Lam Dong province).

About 30 minutes before the start, a light rain fell at Bikini Beach Square, yet it did not diminish the athletes' excitement. Precisely at 4 am, the starting signal echoed. Thousands of runners simultaneously set off, making their way along the coastal route.
