On the evening of July 28, the Cua Lo Ward People's Committee issued an administrative penalty against Mr. Dung, 41 years old, residing in Block 16, Vinh Phu ward. In addition to the fine, the violator must also refund the amount collected in excess of the listed price to customers.
Mr. Dung is the owner of parking lot number one9 in the Cua Lo beach tourist area. A few days ago, when tourists drove cars into parking lot number one9, Mr. Dung charged 30,000 VND per turn, while the public price list stipulated a fee of only 20,000 VND per turn.
During his meeting with authorities, Mr. Dung admitted his wrongdoing.

Cua Lo Ward announced it will intensify inspections of tourism businesses in the coming time. This includes parking facilities, restaurants, accommodations, and other services prone to price violations. Non-compliance, such as failing to list prices, overcharging, or negatively impacting the tourism environment, will result in strict penalties according to regulations.
Cua Lo beach, located over 10 km from Vinh city center and more than 300 km from Hanoi, is a well-known destination in the Central region. Each summer, it attracts millions of domestic and international tourists.
The tourist area currently has about 20 parking lots, primarily situated along Binh Minh street and adjacent cross streets. During peak seasons, these parking lots often become overloaded.
