1. Hollywood Walk of Fame, US (2.67/10 points)
Located 38.1 km from Los Angeles International Airport, this street honoring entertainment legends was criticized for being dirty and unsafe. Visitors expressed disappointment, noting that beyond the celebrity stars embedded in the pavement, the area offered little unique appeal, despite the heavy foot traffic. Photo: Lonely Planet

2. Dead Sea, Jordan (3.51/10 points)
Despite its fame for unique floating experiences, the Dead Sea ranked second among the lowest-scoring destinations. Its remote location, 66 km from the airport, and a low safety index of 3.10 due to regional instability were significant drawbacks. Tourists also complained about poor infrastructure and high prices. 4. Great Wall of China, China (4.43/10 points)

5. Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong (4.68/10 points)

6. Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Tasmania, Australia (4.8/10 points)
This museum is the closest to an airport on the list, at 25 km, yet it has a low safety index. High ticket prices and niche exhibits, including preserved cadavers, led to mixed reviews. Although its Google score reached 4.3/5 among a niche audience, its overall score was only 4.8. Photo: Arlis

7. Stonehenge, UK (4.85/10 points)
As one of the planet's most famous prehistoric sites, many visitors were disappointed by the high ticket prices, ranging from 32 to 35 USD per person. The average score on TikTok, with only about 3,440 likes, indicates its difficulty in attracting younger audiences. Jacob Wedderburn-Day, Stasher's founder, noted: "Popularity does not always equate to value for money. Inconvenient transport, overcrowding, or locations not meeting expectations are reasons these destinations lose points."
Stasher is the world's first luggage storage sharing platform, established in 2015 in London, UK. The company connects travelers with a network of local hotels and shops in over 1,000 cities globally for secure luggage storage. Stasher's rankings are compiled from data including Google Reviews, TikTok, national safety indices, and tourism infrastructure quality.
Stasher regularly publishes data-driven reports to evaluate tourist attractions, aiming to help travelers avoid "tourist traps" or poor experiences.
