Seven exciting destinations for the Hung Kings Commemoration Day and April 30th holidays

This year's Hung Kings Commemoration Day and April 30 - May 1 holidays offer an ideal opportunity for travelers to explore entertainment and relaxation destinations such as Sa Pa, Ha Long, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc.

Sa Pa Rose Festival

From 25/4 to 3/5, a large-scale Rose Festival will take place across 50,000 m2, featuring millions of ancient Sa Pa roses, climbing roses, and rare imported varieties. Visitors will also enjoy the "Journey of Flowers" outdoor show and witness a vibrant Carnival flower parade through central streets on 25-26/4.

Beyond the floral displays, Ban May acts as a "living museum", allowing visitors to explore local cultural heritage through shows like "Sacred Peak Journey" or "Northwest Blooming Season". At an altitude of 3,000 m, the ancient rhododendron flower path is also in its peak bloom. Additionally, a solemn flag-raising ceremony occurs five to six times daily on Fansipan peak, evoking a sense of national pride during the reunification holiday.

VUI-Fest Ha Long Night Entertainment Complex

In the Bai Chay area, the VUI-Fest Ha Long night entertainment complex, featuring a unique "trading port" theme, will open on 25/4. A highlight for visitors is the "Long Van Khanh Hoi" 3D mapping technology show at Ngon Hai Dang (Lighthouse), which recreates the heritage's beauty through enchanting light displays. Each evening, the bay's sky will feature high-altitude artistic fireworks combined with over 50 visual effects.

Here, visitors can savor German-standard craft beer, browse local food stalls, or shop for handcrafted designs. To cool off, the Typhoon Water Park has reopened, combining with Dragon Park and the Queen Cable Car to create a comprehensive entertainment experience.

Sun World Ha Nam Water Park, Ninh Binh

Located about one hour from Ha Noi, Sun World Ha Nam is set to become one of the most attractive destinations in the North as its water park reopens. Thrill-seekers can challenge themselves on "Song Lan Sieu Toc" (Dual Super Speed Slide) — Southeast Asia's first dual waterslide system.

Families can also cool down at "Vinh Than Song" (Wave God Bay), spanning over 4,600 m2, or relax on the 500 m long lazy river. The "Catching Fish and Ducks" area, with its tiny slides, is designed safely for children. As dusk falls, the Times Square welcomes guests with Vietnam's longest musical fountain show and the colorful, giant Trong Doi Tam drum symbol.

Sun Festival on Ba Na Hills

Sun World Ba Na Hills hosts the Sun Festival, featuring a diverse series of shows from morning to night. Visitors can immerse themselves in Malambo performances, the mystical ambiance of the "After Glow" show, or the classical melodies of "Love in the Sky". In mid-april, Nui Chua (Lord Mountain) launched the Interactive Light Art space, offering a new visual experience. Those who enjoy activity can try the speed slide or the free-fall tower at Fantasy Park. During this period, Rosa Garden is in its most vibrant bloom, transforming the French Village into a miniature "Paris" in the heart of Da Nang.

Sun World Vung Tau, World Record Water Park

This year, Sun World Vung Tau Water Park, with its 20 top-tier water games, is a central attraction. Among them are two world-record-holding games: "Thuyen Nhan Giao Dau" (Boatmen's Battle) — the world's first 10-lane water race track, and "Oc Dao Phieu Luu" (Adventure Oasis) — the world's longest children's water roller coaster. To meet increased demand during the April 30th holiday, all games will operate continuously every day from 17/4, ready to welcome a large number of visitors from TP HCM and neighboring provinces for their holidays.

"Leaf Market" Festival on Ba Den Mountain

The highest peak in Southern Vietnam celebrates Reunification Day with a series of meaningful activities. On the morning of 30/4, a solemn flag-raising ceremony will take place at the mountain top square, combined with the "Proud Memories" historical exhibition, recreating the heroic resistance era. Notably, "Cho La" (Leaf Market) — a unique Tay Ninh market where leaves are used as currency — will be held on 25-26/4 and 30/4-1/5.

Visitors taking the cable car up Ba Den Mountain will receive free bodhi leaves to exchange for local Southern Vietnamese dishes. Grand artistic programs on the 986 m high mountain peak also promise to transport visitors back to the historic moments of this heroic land.

Nightly fireworks in Phu Quoc

Sunset Town in Southern Phu Quoc is preparing to don the red colors of flags and flowers to celebrate Reunification Day. Visitors can join the lively atmosphere of the VUI-Fest Bazaar night market by the sea, watch the sunset at Kiss Bridge, and enjoy the water park in Hon Thom. The unique experience here includes two art shows combined with two nightly fireworks displays. This large-scale entertainment activity helps Phu Quoc establish its position as a regional night tourism hub, offering memorable moments for visitors throughout the holiday period.
